Julio González Pellicer (in Catalan Juli González i Pellicer) (Barcelona, 1876-Paris, 1942) was a Spanish sculptor.
Of Castilian origins on his paternal line, he was the son of Concordio González and Pilar Pellicer.
He was one of the most important modern artists of the first half of the 20th century.
His work can be found in different museums, such as the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya in Barcelona, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, the Georges Pompidou Center in Paris or the IVAM (Valencian Institute of Modern Art in Valencia), who has dedicated a specific space, the Julio González Center, to the Catalan sculptor based on the donation of his works made by his heiresses Carmen Martínez and Viviane Grimminger.
