José Luis Sánchez Fernández (Almansa, Albacete, December 9, 1926-Pozuelo de Alarcón, August 8, 2018) was a Spanish sculptor representative of contemporary sculpture in the chapter of abstraction, forming part of the Society for Design Studies. Industry (SEDI).
In 1936 he moved to Madrid with his family, where he established his residence.
In 1975 he became Professor of Drawing at the San Fernando School of Fine Arts in Madrid, a task to which he will dedicate several years.
In 1987 he was elected as a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando (Madrid).
