Ángel Ferrant Vázquez (Madrid 1890-1961) was an avant-garde Spanish sculptor associated with surrealism and kinetic art.
Son of the painter Alejandro Ferrant, he studied sculpture at the School of Arts and Crafts in Madrid, at the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts and in the workshop of the sculptor Aniceto Marinas.
Upon obtaining a position as a modeling and casting teacher through competitive examination, he was assigned to the School of Arts and Crafts in La Coruña, where he lived for two years, until his transfer in 1920 to the Lonja school in Barcelona.
